We are professional Piercers
and Tattoo artists.
You are going to receive the utmost level of care when getting your
next body modification. As Nathan’s is a professional shop, all
employees are Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, and First Aid certified. We
view our profession as an art form and with great reverence. This also
means we do not carry or sell any form of drug paraphernalia in our retail shop
as we feel it has no place in our industry. We hire people with good
ethics and a great value system so that our clients will be treated
kindly. We do all genital piercings. We are not publishing them on this
website, but you are welcome to stop by the studio to see photos.

SAFETY
Nathan’s Anthems has an APP (Association of Professional Piercers)
Piercer at the studio full-time. The APP demands very high standards to
grant membership, and this is something we are very excited about! We
also have a studio set up to APP standards with a separate bio room,
non-porous surfaces in all work areas, and more. The best Piercers in
the world are our friends and colleagues. We attend exclusive and
advanced training courses with them. Body Piercers from Nathan's
Anthems and Nathan's Tattoos in L.A. are constandly attending exclusive
Advanced Technique seminars to improve our skills and knowledge. Few
Piercers in the industry put the time, effort, money and heart into
this like we do.
We
believe that only through continuous education of both our customers
and ourselves will we be able to provide the highest quality piercings
possible. All of our Piercers
and Apprentices
take advanced training courses and attend seminars year-round. We learn
the newest techniques, proper jewelry and aftercare, as well as
interface with our colleagues who are looked upon as some of the best
Piercers in the world. Nathan's Tattoos and Nathan's Anthems have been
sending large numbers of Piercers to the Association of Professional
Piercers annual conference every year. This year, we are sending 7
Piercers! Our walls are covered with certificates of these training
seminars, which cost a lot of money to attend, but in the long run we
feel it’s best for our clients |
ARTISTRY
Our artists are just that -- artists. Nathan’s Anthems is the only
full-custom shop in Shasta County, meaning every tattoo is a
one-of-a-kind, custom piece, tailor made with your personal taste and
best interests in mind. Our artists focus on what’s important. You
won’t find intimidating attitudes or egos here. Drop by for a free
consultation, all designing and customizing is free of charge. We have
plenty of reference material including technical manuals, art reference
books and thousands of pieces of flash to get you started on the way to
your custom piece. We are also more than happy to work from your own
reference-books, paintings, photographs, t-shirts, comic books,
virtually anything in the world can be used for reference, or even just
to spark an idea! Our artists take the utmost pride in their work, and
want it to look as incredible as it can conceivably be. Though
uncommon, we offer free touchups within the first 6 months, except in
the case of aftercare negligence on the tattooee’s part.

from noon until 8 PM in the winter and noon until 9 PM in the summer.

We
have the largest display of body jewelry north of the Bay Area. We use
only the best jewelry available. Plenty of shops claim they do but in
reality carry low-grade jewelry.

One last note: None of us at Nathan’s Anthems would be here if not for Nathan Peterson. Nathan is the proprietor of Nathan’s Tattoos and Piercings
in Canoga Park (LA), CA. He is also the driving force and “Godfather”
of all of us. He is considered one of the best piercers in America and
he ranks among the most admirable people we know.
